Intensive blocks

Rehabilitation stay for children with neurological injuries - NEURON
What does the stay look like?
We start the rehabilitation stay with an examination and observation of the child and an interview with the parent. During an in-depth analysis of the condition of a small patient, we use international scales for functional assessment of both fine and gross motor skills. We pay attention to the child's posture, ranges of joint mobility, the state of muscle tone, muscle strength and power, own activity and manual skills. Together with the parents and the child, we set the goals of therapy.
During the diagnosis, we plan the course of the stay, select the appropriate forms of rehabilitation, orthopedic supplies and rehabilitation equipment, because only therapy tailored to the needs of the child can bring the expected results. During the therapy, we try to adjust the environment and the type of activity so as to enable the child to function independently, adequately to their age and abilities. We often use various forms of activity in therapy, choose toys in such a way as to build a sense of agency in the child. We use various forms of therapy and rehabilitation equipment, depending on the patient's needs. We also support the therapy with the Galileo platform, functional electrostimulation and kinesiotaping.
