In our Center, we value an individual approach to the patient and the selection of appropriate forms of therapy, so we start our stay for babies with SMA with a thorough examination of the child and analysis of needs.

We pay attention to the child's movement patterns, ranges of joint mobility, and the state of muscle tone. We check what are the possibilities of a small patient, using international functional assessment scales. During therapy, we try to adjust the environment and the type of activity so as to enable the child to play independently and help them experience the world. It is extremely important for us to build muscle strength as well as maintain and improve ranges of mobility. We are helped in this by appropriately selected orthopedic equipment and rehabilitation equipment.
