Rehabilitation stay for children - Serial castings

What does the stay look like?

Serial plastering consists in repeated plastering of the lower limbs in order to elongate the child's muscles and induce appropriate changes in their structure. In combination with intensive exercises, serial plastering improves the range of mobility of the lower limbs, activates them and, above all, increases their functionality. Plaster feet are in the right position while maintaining linearity, which helps in tissue trophic, muscle activation and increasing their length. After a few days of intense exercise, the casts are removed, the tissues are examined again and the next cast is adjusted to their new length.
